what the heck else can I do? I am very angry, I want to play my game.There are no error messages when Oblivion crashes. Downloaded my few main programs that I have always had on my computer, and The Sims 4 STILL will not work. So now I have backed up my files from my computer that I wanted to keep to an external hard drive, and did a fresh install of Windows 10 and started my computer over.

Installed game on other computer and verified that my Origin account can and does download the sims onto another windows 10 computer and it will run.

Turning off all Anti Virus and Malware programs.

Clean Boot (this didn't go properly I don't think, programs were still opening on restart).

Updated Microsoft Visual C++ 圆4 and x86.

Uncheck the box in Game properties within Origin to stop Origin from running in game.

Share both The Sims 4 folders with "Everyone" and change to Read/Write.

Double check its running on the NVIDIA graphics and not Integrated.

Run As Administrator (which used to be the fix when I had issues).

Exclude Both The Sims 4 folders from Malwarebytes Anti Malware, and Windows Defender, and Windows Firewall.

Reinstall game and remove The Sims 4 folder from My Documents.

Here is what I have tried: (hope I remember everything) (basically it is everything on all the thread here about Sims not running) I have read countless threads online, and have exhausted EVERY effort to fix this on my own. I have not had a chance to play The Sims 4 since I updated my computer to Windows 10, so I can only guess that this has something to do with the Windows upgrade since my game was working fine previously.Įvery time I attempt to open the game, the screen immediately goes white and I get the pop up box stating "The Sims 4 Has Stopped Working".
